The following yoga video is an Acro Yoga demonstration by Jason and Jenny, the founders of Acroyoga.org. There is also another group of acro yoga practitioners who founded acroyoga.com long before Jason and Jenny which has led to a lot of political issues that has tarnished acroyoga.org’s reputation. It’s unfortunate because this is such a beautiful practice and should be about little more than people getting together to play and form community.
If you want to try acro yoga, by all means, try what you see in the various videos on the internet. Or look for meetups in your area, they’re quite common around the entire world. Have fun!
The following yoga video showcases Yoga For Beginners. I want to point out to new practitioners that there is more to yoga than just asana (or poses). There are in fact eight limbs of yoga of which asana is the third limb. It’s great to start out yoga with asana, but if it’s something that calls to you, I strongly suggest you begin to delve into the other seven limbs as well.
I hope you enjoy this yoga for beginners video. As your practice deepens, be sure to check back with us to learn much more yoga from our other videos.
Yoga For Beginners is a yoga DVD by Barbara Benagh and is available at most locations such as Amazon.com. There are five short sections of the videos and each goes through various beginner yoga poses. The DVD is an excellent source for anyone who doesn’t have access to or can’t afford to go to a yoga studio for proper instruction.
It is our opinion that yoga DVDs and videos are simply a go between. To really access to full benefits of yoga, you want to practice with an experienced, wise, knowledgeable yoga teacher who has gone into themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and physically. However, for the beginning yoga practitioner, this video, Yoga For Beginners, is an excellent start or compendium.
You can find Yoga For Beginners for less than $15.00 at Amazon.com. Shop around online and be patient rather than spending too much at local studios or big box retailers. And most importantly, enjoy your yoga. Namaste and peace be with you.
The following yoga video is almost five minutes of abs work. Yoga poses can help strengthen your bodies core which can not only be physically beneficial, but look great as well. As always, only do yoga poses that your body is ready for. If you don’t feel comfortable with a certain pose, please don’t do it and ask a teacher to evaluate you.
Yoga doesn’t always have to be completely benign in nature. We can also enjoy the human body and how incredibly sexy it can be. As such, we thought we’d share this sexy yoga video. We realize not everyone will agree with the content of this video but we also realize we can’t please everyone.
The following yoga video is a 57 minute class where the hatha yoga teacher takes students through sequences and poses designed to help with neck and shoulder pain.
